April Alain is a Professor of Software Engineering and a long standing member of the Research Laboratory at the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) - Université du Québec. He is currently Co-editor of the Guide to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge software maintenance and software quality chapters. He is also actively involved in international software engineering standards. Professor April has more than 25 years of industry experience in information systems quality and software engineering.

Mens Tom is directing the Software Engineering Lab at the University of Mons (Belgium), where he is a full-time professor. He has published numerous articles on software evolution and model-driven software engineering, and he co-edited the 2008 Springer book "Software Evolution" with Serge Demeyer. He has been involved in many international workshops and conferences. He is the director of this ERCIM Working Group, and is involved in several research projects related to software evolution and model-driven software engineering.
