<h3>CALL FOR PAPERS</h3>

Progress in computing and (wireless) communication technologies allow
mobile users to permanently communicate with other persons or to use
services and applications that might even have been designed for mobile
users. Mobile Applications and services require technical solutions on
various levels such as wireless network technologies, communication
architectures and protocols supporting mobility of users and devices,
middleware to support security and flexibility, as well as applications
that are adaptive and context sensitive, although or because mobile
devices have usually limited resources. The target of the workshop is to
discuss issues and problems related to future applications and services
based on mobile and wireless technologies. This multi-disciplinary
workshop aims to bring together researchers, who are active in these
different research areas.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  <li> Future mobile applications,
  e.g. medical applications, multimedia, mobile learning, telematics
  <li> Mobile application support such as coding, content distribution and
  adaptation
  <li> Ubiquitous, pervasive, and context-aware computing and communications
  <li> Location-based services
  <li> Mobile Peer-to-Peer
  <li> Security including trust and authentication
  <li> Runtime adaptation
  <li> Software development for mobile devices
  <li> Wireless access networks
  <li> Mobile ad-hoc and wireless mesh networks
  <li> Sensor networks
  <li> Wireless experimentation and test networks
  <li> Simulation methods and tools for wireless wireless networks
  <li> Mobility management, roaming, and handover support
  <li> Quality-of-Service and traffic engineering
  <li> Transport protocols and congestion control in wireless networks
  <li> Cross-layer protocol design
  <li> Energy-efficient protocol mechanisms
  <li> Vehicular and car-to-car communication
  <li> Social networks for eMobility
  <li> Green mobile ICT
</ul>

Authors are encouraged to submit papers describing original,
previously unpublished, results, not currently under review by another
conference or journal, addressing original research. All papers will be
reviewed and accepted papers will appear in the workshop proceedings
(with ISBN number). Submitted papers should be formatted according to the Springer LNCS formatting standard, available at the [http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html Springer website]. Technical contributions can be submitted as full, short, and abstract papers with 12, 6, or 1-2 pages respectively.

The <i>ERCIM eMobility Workshop</i> on May 31, 2010, is co-located with the 
[http://omega005.sm.ltu.se/wwic2010/ WWIC 2010] conference which will take place from 
June 1 to 5 in Lulea.
